Here are important upcoming dates for Valentine Elementary students and parents/guardians! These are and will continue to be posted elsewhere but hopefully this serves as an easy way to access dates.
Weight Room will be closed next week, Monday-Wednesday, due to 4th of July. We started off strong with attendance @ the beginning of June, but it has tapered off significantly. Let's make July a great month for the weight room, heading into fall seasons! Have a safe 4th!
There will be NO MS Weights/Open Gym tomorrow, Friday, June 30.
Thank you, Governor Pillen, for visiting Valentine Elementary and also Badger Cub Club. Our students and staff enjoyed the visit! We appreciated your willingness to celebrate our successes but also listen to challenges we still face.

A big THANK YOU to the Badger boys basketball players and Badger mom Kris Larsen for taking time out of their busy morning to teach basketball skills to the Badger Cub Club! The kids had fun practicing their skills and interacting with the basketball team. Go Badgers!🏀
The Badger Cub Club is making time capsules at the summer program. Students may bring a small item or photo to put in their class time capsule. Please have them bring their item by Wednesday!

Our staff and students at Badger Cub Club want to give a huge shoutout to our wonderful director, Rachelle O'Kief! She puts her all into this program, and because of that, it's been a really fun summer for all involved! Thank you!
Emma and Landen are off to compete at National FBLA on Monday, June 26th. Join us in sending them off with a fire truck escort at 9:00am. We will start at the high school and head south, take Hwy 20 to Main, then Main to north Hwy 83. We fly from Rapid to Atlanta, GA!
On Thursday, June 22nd, from 12:00-1:00pm at VES, you are invited to see all the things your child has created during our Badger Cub Club Summer Program. We have had such a blast this summer and want to share these cool creations with you and also show you what we, the students, think Valentine will look like in 20 years.

The Badger Cub Club summer program will be attending a field trip tomorrow to Smith Falls. The bus will load at 9:00 am and will not return until 11:45 am. If your child is attending, please make sure they are at the school before 9:00 am.
