We wanted to share a few reminders now that we are experiencing winter weather. Please slow down near the school as there are several slick spots, especially coming into the parking lot. Additionally, you must park in a parking spot in order to drop off and pick up your student. Please send your student to school in appropriate winter attire. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!
Senior Night for GBB/BBB/Dance will be January 18th after the Girls Varsity game.
Due to low numbers, there will be NO JV GBB vs. Stuart January 18th. Boys JV will start @ THE HS @ 4:30pm. Girls Varsity, then Boys Varsity will follow.

Badger Speech is underway! We host the first meet of the season, the Valentine Ice-Breaker, this Saturday, 1.13.24. We have eight fabulous competitors this year, ready to inaugurate their season. Come and cheer them on this weekend.
Due to the Winter Weather Advisory and road conditions, tonight's Reserve GBB/BBB game vs. Todd County has been postponed to February 5th.
Senior Night for Boys/Girls Wrestling will be January 11th @ 4:45pm before the first Dual vs. Gothenburg.
Due to low numbers, Reserve GBB/BBB vs. Ainsworth on Feb. 5th has been cancelled. We are looking into finding another opponent for this date.

Wow! What a way to kick off Christmas Break! VMS staff and students had a (half) day packed full of fun and games!
Staff participated in a game of Roshambo (Rock, Paper, Scissors) throughout the morning (thanks Mrs. Foster!) This resulted in a semi-final of Mrs. Bancroft (our awesome substitute for Mrs. Steskal) vs. Mr. Sayer and the final match of Mr. Sayer vs. Mrs. Gass... although we're not sure if Mrs. Gass necessarily played fair 😉

Following the Roshambo finals, students were recognized with near perfect attendance awards for the 1st semester, 2nd quarter Badger Effort Awards and then the grand finale of the Quiz Bowl tournament that student competed in all morning. Mrs. Perrett's Badger Pause beat out Mrs. Thorpe's Badger Pause by 1 point!
