The Standard Response Protocol was activated today.
VHS was placed in Hold this morning due to a medical emergency.
As a precaution, students and staff were asked to remain in their classrooms in order to keep the hallways empty. Classroom learning continued throughout the Hold, and all school operations have returned to normal.
The safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. We will continue to keep you informed about important concerns at our school.
The community is invited to join students in attending the Spring Parent-Student Food Advisory Meeting on April 24th, 2024 at 11:10am in the Valentine Middle School gym. This meeting allows you to give feedback on the lunch program and put forth any ideas you may want to suggest. We appreciate your time and would love to see you there.
Come help Interact raise money for the Sandhills Cancer Fund this Saturday! This will be a 5K run beginning at the Community Pool. Registration will be held the morning of, no pre-registration!

Alivia Patterson and Ciana Colvin chose to do an Autism Awareness Day for their Community Service Project for American Government class. The girls made and donated shirts to all of the VHS Staff for them to wear on April 10th. They wanted to show support and awareness through this project.

Prom 2024 will take place on Saturday, April 13th! The Prom banquet will be held at Peppermill in the east room at 6 PM. The promenade and crowning of the King and Queen will take place in the High School gym at 8 PM. 👑

The Valentine Quiz Bowl team traveled to McCook for the Southwest Conference meet on April 10, 2024. After a rough start in pool play, the team persevered and finished in 5th place out of 9 teams. The teams' final competition of the year will be at the State ESU Quiz Bowl on April 24th, in Hastings, NE.

Any 8th-11th grader interested in participating in Badger Spirit Squad should fill out this Google Form! The Badger Spirit Squad will be both the dance and cheer teams.
