BADGER OF THE WEEK Devlin Welch, Senior, Cross-Country Devlin Welch has been a hardworking runner with a positive mindset in the cross country program for 5 years of his high school and middle school career. He ran over the summer before this season and achieved a personal record at the O'Neill invitational this year with a time of 19:12 for a 5K. He ended his season placing 22nd out of 75 runners at the class D-6 district down in Grant, NE. While his unique charm will be missed next year, I'm excited to see what he does in the classroom and in other extracurricular activities this year and beyond. Keep pushing yourself Devlin, you're doing fantastic so far this year! - Alex Jensen, Social Studies Teacher, Head Cross-Country Coach

Seniors had an Apply2College day this morning at the high school. Reps from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, University of Nebraska at Kearney, Chadron State College, Western Nebraska Community College, Northeast Community College, and the Army National Guard were there to help support them. It was a great morning filled with lots of breakfast burritos!
