Soccer Scrimmages
The VHS Badger Band received their NSAA State Music Medals!! To be awarded state medals each of their three judges at District Music Contest had to award them a Superior Rating. We competed in Ainsworth, NE on April 19, 2024 and earned our medals!! Congratulations to the Badger Band!! We are so proud of you!!
5th & 6th Grade Track Meet TODAY at 12:45pm

VALENTINE HIGH SCHOOL would like to remind everyone of the Honors Day Program tonight beginning at 7:00 at the VHS Auditorium.
Also, it's school policy that if you didn't attend school during the day, you can't attend any extra-curricular activity, which includes Honors Night.
VMS 4th Quarter Badger Effort Recipients
The Badger Effort Award is based on the school's character education. Students who demonstrate Character In Action (CIA), responsibility, accountability, honesty, empathy, and respect were nominated by their classroom teachers and staff. VCS wants to recognize this guy for the time and effort he puts in everyday to make activities work not just for the school, but also the community.
We were able to sneak this last track meet in today and it was because of his leadership, organization and communication.

Just a reminder that the Student Council Talent show registration deadline is Monday May 6th 4PM. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Arganbright darganbright@vcs Badger.net as of now we have 3 registrations. If there are not more than 5 entries I don’t know if we will hold the event. Hopefully, we get some more registrations. We love to see everyone’s talent! This is for students and community members. 💫
Our dual credit event management class has been working all year to host a fabulous all-day conference on Monday for all the students and staff. The community has been a huge support and has funded this special day. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We are excited!!!

VES families, please plan to attend our annual family engagement night, Beach Bash, TONIGHT, 5:30-7:00 pm. It is open house style and will be a lot of fun! To help with the flow of people, Kindergarten families please enter through the front door, 1st and 2nd grade families enter through your (south) doors, and 3rd and 4th families enter through the 3rd grade (north) doors. Go in the door of your youngest student if you have more than one! We hope to see you here!
