FAFSA: New High School Graduation Requirement
What is the new state law?
Starting with the class of 2025, Nebraska law requires all public high
school students to complete and submit a FAFSA (or actively opt out) as
a graduation requirement. This is known as Universal FAFSA.
If you would like to opt-out your student, a form must be completed and returned to Valentine High School. Mrs. Manning has paper copies of the form for any senior who requests one.

VMS Student Council is hosting a "VMS Teacher and Staff Member of the Month" throughout the the 24-25 school year. All students in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades vote in each category and get to learn a little more about their teachers and staff! February's Teacher & Staff Member of the month are Mr. Brooks Coleman and Mr. David Schultz. Congrats!

2nd Graders in Mrs. Coleman's class made their own instruments out of recycled materials. Students worked with partners to create their own songs and music.

Items in need: Shampoo, Conditioner, Bar soap, Handsoap, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Floss, Deodorant, Small Tissue Packs, Travel Size Lotion, Disposable Wipes, Socks, Washcloths, Hairbrushes, Nail clippers - the donation box can be found outside of Mrs. Beel’s classroom.
