Students at VES celebrated Read Across America Week last week with spirit days, guest readers, and Dr. Seuss books. Thank you to our guest readers for making time to visit classrooms and share a love of reading with kids!

Bad news threatens the guests at the Come On Inn of Nova Scotia. By the end of the day, gung-ho aerobics instructor Billie Body is mysteriously murdered during a power outage. As the winds howl, suspicions rage as everyone has a hidden motive to want Billie Body dead. After all, she does have abs “to die for”!

VMS Student Council is hosting a "VMS Teacher and Staff Member of the Month" throughout the the 24-25 school year. All students in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades vote in each category and get to learn a little more about their teachers and staff! March's Teacher of the month was a tie between Mrs. Springer & Mrs. Keller! Staff Member of the month is Mrs. Major! Congrats!
