Valentine Community Schools held their Veteran's day program, Mknday, November 11th. The Elementary, Middle and High School students along with Veterans, family members and many community members were in attendance. Valentine native, Brad Arnold was this years guest speaker.

VMS Students made it clear today that they would much rather be able to read minds than have to say out loud what all that they're thinking about!

Tomorrow's MS Girls games will be played in Springview and not Bassett. Game are starting at 5 pm.

The Valentine High School Journalism class has a few high school yearbooks from previous years that can be obtained in the High School office for $10.00 each. Years they have on hand on a first come first serve basis are: 2010-11, 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16. We have a few from 2017-18 that can be purchased for $30.00. The extra yearbooks for 2018-19 that we have are available for $50.00.

WE ARE ALMOST HOME... Many of the kids are taking advantage of the wifi on the Badger Bus. Freshman are doing study sync for English. Some tried to do sketch up for basic woods but apparenlty straight lines are hard to draw on a bus and some seniors completed scholarship applications due Monday. Did you know the wifi is only available for students on their school issued devices? Thanks to Dr Isom and the school board for making this happen!





VALENTINE FFA took in the morning session if the 2019 National convention today. There were a number of speakers, on of which encouraged students to not take for granted the small moments in each others lives.





VALENTINE FFA students toured the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. They got to ride around the track and had an opportunity to kiss the legendary bricks!

The keynote speaker was author Bob Goff. His message was awesome and simple. 100% kindness = 0% drama...

The VHS Student Council is holding a food drive for St. John’s Food Pantry, November 1-December 2. Remind your students to bring non perishable food items to help their grade win the high school competition.


DAY 2 of the National FFA convention trip took the VHS and CK chapters to Cinnamon Ridge Dairy in Donahue, IA. Joan and John Maxwell presented to the kids and showed their robotic milking operation along with many other business ventures.





Last Wednesday the Plant Science class took a field trip to Niobrara Valley Vineyards in Nenzel and CSS Farms south of Cody. Learning about the wine industry and seed potato production and storage in Nebraska was very interesting and a great experience for the students. Thank you
