Just a reminder that TODAY all VHS students will be released after announcements are read and attendance taken during 9th hour (approx. 3:05) due to MTSS/Staff meeting. The next day we will do this will be Oct. 7 for teacher grade level collaboration.

In case of possible inclement weather this evening: Lightning strike-fans will need to vacate the bleachers and seek shelter in their vehicles (an announcement will be made). Teams/coaches will vacate the field and enter the HS gymnasium. Play is suspended 30 minutes with each lightning strike.

The Valentine Middle School will be offering after school clubs and an after school homework session from 3:40-4:40 when school is in session starting September 19th. Please encourage your student to participate in a club and/or stay after school for homework help. If you want to sign them up please call the school.
Four University of Nebraska campuses will waive the undergraduate admission application fee for all Nebraska students for two weeks to encourage them to attend college.
From Sept. 16 through Sept. 30, applicants will be eligible for fee waivers from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, the University of Nebraska at Kearney, the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture
Applicants for the 2023-24 academic year should select “fee waiver” and enter the code “NUforNE.”
