The 2025 Lady Badger golf season has come to an end. The girls played at Lake Maloney Golf course in North Platte on Monday the 13th and Tuesday the 14th for the state tournament. Results from 9/13: Joni Cox 89 (PR), Rylee Wackler 94 (PR) and Tierney Miller 95. The team score for day 1, which included Sam Sprenger's score, was a 393. Results from 9/14: A couple of girls didn't come in with what they were hoping for on day 2, but with the chilly and misty weather, they still pulled out reasonable scores and kept their heads held high. Tierney came in with an 87, Joni 103, Rylee 104 and Sam 109. Grace finished strong for her first ever state tournament. Team score was a 403. After two days of play, the girls finished in the middle of the pack! Proud of these girls and all of the hard work they have put in throughout the season! We saw a lot of awesome accomplishments and growth this season. We will miss our Seniors, Sam and Grace! We wish them the best of luck on their future endeavors!!

Thank you to all who supported the VMS Graham Cracker Drive. Over 250 boxes were donated by VMS Badger Pause students and their families. We really appreciate your support! Mrs. Foster’s Badger Pause brought in 77 boxes and were treated to doughnuts for their generosity.

Raken Tinant, Sophomore

I'd like to nominate Raken Tinant for Scholar of the Week. He is very attentive in class, answers questions, and often leads our class discussion. He has great insight into the text we are reading, and I look forward to hearing and reading his responses. We all learn something when Raken shares his thoughts. He also has a good sense of humor which I appreciate. Keep up the good work, Raken!
