VMS Announcements 10/21/2025
Welcome Back from Fall Break VES families! A few brief reminders to keep things running efficiently:
1. Breakfast is from 7:30-8:00am. If your student is wanting to eat breakfast, please try to be here by 7:50 at the latest.
2. When dropping off at the curb in the morning, please try to pull as far forward to the south in the main parking lot as you can to allow for other vehicles behind you. If you plan to get out of your vehicle, please use a designated parking spot in the middle of the lot.
3. After school tutoring starts this week for families participating. Please check your schedule for days to attend. Students can be picked up at 4:15pm.
4. VES would like to welcome Artist in Residence Daniel Martinez this week. Daniel will be working with students in grades K-4 with a focus group for 4th graders. 4th grade students will be invited to perform with him in concert on Sunday, October 26 at 3:00pm at VHS.

Senator Tanya Storer visited Valentine Middle, Valentine High, and Cutcomb Lake Schools on Tuesday. We learned more about our State government and how senators make laws. Senator Storer shared with us why she is a senator & wants to serve the people of the 43rd district. She also told us about her first year in the Nebraska Legislature. Senator Storer introduced 15 new bills, and 9 of these were passed into law! She answered questions from students and staff during her visit. Thank you for visiting our great schools!
