Homecoming Festivities kick off this weekend with the Booster Pep Rally on Sunday and spirit days to follow! The crowning of King and Queen will be at half time of the football game on Friday 9/22 vs O’Neill. Game starts at 7PM. Dance to follow in the multipurpose room at the HS. 9-Midnight. VMS Lady Badgers back on the court tonight hosting the Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs and the Gordon-Rushville Lady Mustangs. 7th grade will play a the high school gym and 8th grade will play at the middle school, both start at 5PM. Kaetryn Bancroft shot her personal tournament best of a 78 today at the Gothenburg Girls Invite, placing her 3rd overall. Her score beat the All-Time lowest score at Valentine held by Ashley (Kurtz) McSweeney for the past 16 years.

Willis Kilmer has served as custodian for VCS at Valentine Elementary for over 32 years. He retires this week, and we celebrated him on Friday! Thanks for making our building sparkle, Mr. Kilmer. You will be missed!
The 2023 Homecoming festivities will be kicking off next week! The homecoming parade will be held on Friday 9/22 at 2:30 PM. The route will be back to the original route starting at 1st and Main Street and going to the High School.
