NOVEMBER IS NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP MONTH!
Just a friendly reminder that the Valentine Community Schools Foundation raises money for Valentine seniors. The VCS Foundation has provided our seniors $86,500 in scholarships since 2003!
This is made possible by the members of the Valentine community.
One major contributor is Scotty and Tammy Mallard of Scotty's Ranchland Foods. For every gallon of milk you buy from Scotty's a portion goes towards the VCS Foundation Scholarship fund.
Thanks Scotty and Tammy for your continued support.
Be sure to buy your milk at Scotty's Ranchland to support the VCS Foundation scholarship fund!

Valentine Community Schools Foundation Scholarship Fundraiser!
Tonight at the Basketball Jamboree the VCS Foundation will be selling 100 tickets at $20 each for a chance to win your very own reserved parking spot for the whole winter season AND 2 complimentary bags of popcorn for each contest!
There are only 100 tickets. If we sell them all that will make enough money for two $1000 scholarships for this year's seniors!!!

Tonight's BBB/GBB HOF Jamboree admission is Adults $6, Students $5. No passes will be accepted as it is a fundraiser for the Nebraska Hall of Fame.

MS Boys Wrestling @ Winner, SD is TOMORROW, November 29th @ 4:30pm.

Nursing Incentive Scholarship
This is an amazing opportunity for Nebraska residents!
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) granted $5,000,000 to Nebraska DHHS to distribute in the form of scholarships to eligible Nebraska nursing students in approved nursing programs up to $2,500/semester. This scholarship will fulfill two primary goals: to reduce barriers to entry in the nursing field and to grow Nebraska's public health workforce. Upon completion of their nursing programs, these students will be obligated to practice nursing in Nebraska for a minimum of two years. Each of these students will play a vital supporting role in rebuilding Nebraska's public health infrastructure and will advance the state's recovery from COVID-induced nursing shortages.
Any Nebraska resident currently enrolled or intending to enroll in a Nebraskan CNA, LPN, ADN, or accelerated BSN program is eligible to apply. These scholarships will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified applicants. After submitting their applications and all necessary documentation, students will receive the scholarship amount in Spring 2023 and each subsequent semester until either their program is completed or ARPA funds run out.
