Valentine Community Schools is pleased to announce Marcus Nelson as the new Head Wrestling Coach for Valentine High School.  Marcus has been the assistant coach for the Todd County Falcons for the last five years.  He has also served as the head middle school coach for two years.  Coach Nelson was on the 2012 Valentine State Championship team and was a three-time state champion for the Badgers. He finished his wrestling career at Morningside College.  His wife Chantal, and children Brooke, Kash, and Knox have lived in the Valentine area most of their lives.  Marcus and his family are very excited for this new opportunity.  Valentine Activities Director Blake Beebout states, "We are excited to have Coach Nelson leading our wrestling program."

VES & VMS parents/guardians, VES students came home today with a Badger Cub Club Summer Program application. Middle School applications can be found in the VMS office. This is free to all K-8th grade (finishing Kindergarten through finishing 8th grade), from 8 am-12 pm. This runs from May 30-June 30 and is located at VES. There will be so many fun activities, including STEM projects, art, outdoor activities like gardening, etc. Please fill out the application and return to the school if you are interested in this for your child.
