The Valentine Middle School Fall Concert is coming up on Monday, November 6th at 7pm. It will be held in the HIGH SCHOOL auditorium!

First Quarter Badger Effort Awards @ VMS! The Badger Effort Award is based on the school's character education. Students who demonstrate Character In Action (CIA), responsibility, accountability, honesty, empathy, and respect were nominated by their classroom teachers and staff. Congratulations to the VMS 1st Quarter Badger Effort recipients!
If you are a Veteran or know a Veteran, we'd like to honor you with a cup of coffee and donut. ☕️ 🍩 We will have coffee and donuts in the VHS Common's area from 7:45-8:15 AM then we will join the Valentine Elementary students for their annual Veterans Day program in the High School Gym!

VMS Student Council is hosting a Graham Cracker Drive for the month of October! Tomorrow is the last day!
Jessa & Kinsey would like to thank everyone who has donated their stuffed animals so far! They have currently received 86 stuffed animals out of their 200 animal goal. The girls plan to have a drop box on the east side of the high school during school hours, weather pending.

Valentine High school students enjoy the art show at the Valentine Public library. Information about the show follows. The Association of Nebraska Art Clubs is proud to announce its 2023 Travel Art Show, featuring 25 works of Nebraska artists who have earned top awards at the state show. Among the art on display are several area artists, including David Dorsey's "Green Colt," charcoal on canvas, Joan Swim's "Turkey Creek," oil painting, Chana Orton "Morning Roundup" pencil drawing, and Bridget Licking "Working Hands" photography.

The Badger Branch of Sandhills State Bank opens at VES tomorrow from 7:40-8:10 am. Here are some Q&As about the bank. If your child has not returned the permission slip to participate, they can still do that. In the Q&As, there are instructions about how to access another permission form. We did our ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 12. We are so excited at VES!
