Congratulations to the Quiz Bowl team for an awesome performance on March 27th at the Gordon-Rushville tournament. The Varsity team of Grant, Marybelle, Sari, and Landen placed 4th out of 8 teams with a total of 470 points. The J.V. team of River, Leighton, Isaac, and Alan placed 3rd out of 7 teams with a total of 380 points. Also, Landen and Isaac earned spots on their respective All Tournament teams. This is a huge honor as they were recognized as being among the top 8 competitors among all the teams present. The Quiz Bowl team's next competition will be on April 3rd at the ESU 17 tournament.
Another senior with his Ducks in a Row! Traven Fletcher has joined the Army National Guard and plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He would like to study Business. Great job, Traven!

The Valentine Community Schools Board Committee on American Civics will meet Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. in the VHS board room. The public is invited to attend and become aware of our social studies curriculum that's being taught.

The National Guard will NOT be able to administer the ASVAB test tomorrow, Tuesday, March 26.
Therefore there will be no school tomorrow for Seniors, Sophomores, or Freshman.

Valentine Middle School is all about March Madness! Mr. Sayer has the games playing during lunch shifts yesterday and today - some cheering and booing 😂 May all our brackets remain somewhat intact!
On Wednesday, March 20, Valentine High School band students Olena Felton, Hope Woodraska, Tryston Gaver, Trevor Burdick, Grant Springer, Roman Dillon, Landen Mooney and Blake Boone, along with Mrs. Springer and Mrs. Rhoades, shared tube instruments with VCS’s preschool classes. The preschoolers are currently studying Tubes and Tunnels.
Will Sprenger has his Ducks in a Row! He will attend Dickinson State University in North Dakota. Will plans to study Exercise Science and Wrestle for the college. Shine bright, Will!
