VCS teachers and staff had trauma training during the March 21st in-service. "Creating Trauma Sensative and Culturally Competent Educators" was presented by Dr. Melissa Sadin, a trauma in schools expert.

The VHS Quiz Bowl team faced some tough competition at the Ainsworth HS Quiz Bowl Dual. Valentine 2 ended up in 4th place, and Valentine 1 got 2nd place.
Valentine 8th grade Quiz Bowl teams went to Ainsworth today with some tough competition in a Dual Quiz Bowl. B Team won 2nd in the Consolation Match and A team won 2nd in the Championship Match! Great job to all!
