On Monday the VMS Golf Team traveled to the Atkinson/Staurt Golf Tournament, it was a beautiful day, and every golfer improved and had something positive to say about their round! We had four in the top 15: Westin Witte got 4th with a 41, Trevor Two Strike got 6th with a 42, Parker Wackler got 7th with a 42, Raken Tinant got 14th with a 46. Our top girls were Austin Deibler with a 51, Mady Bopp with a 55, and Leah Osnes with a 55. Our next Tournament is our home meet at Frederick’s Peak on Tuesday. Way to go Badgers!!

Norfolk Classic Track Meet has been moved to Wednesday this week due to weather.
From VMS Golf Coach McSweeney: "First tournament is a wrap! It was a chilly day in Bassett, but we ended the day with smiles, positive shots to look back on and three medalists! Trevor Two Strike took 8th place with a 48, Westin Witte took 10th place with a 49 and Parker Wackler took 14th place with a 50. Not falling too far behind the top 15 were Gage Sandoz and Aiden Buckendahl who both shot a 55. Also want to give a shout out to Kassie Hanson who shot a 58 and Mady Bopp who shot a 64 as they were Valentine's top 2 girls! "

VHS was placed in Hold this morning due to a medical emergency.
As a precaution, students and staff were asked to remain in their classrooms in order to keep the hallways empty. Classroom learning continued throughout the Hold, and all school operations have returned to normal.
The safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. We will continue to keep you informed about important concerns at our school.
The community is invited to join students in attending the Spring Parent-Student Food Advisory Meeting on April 24th, 2024 at 11:10am in the Valentine Middle School gym. This meeting allows you to give feedback on the lunch program and put forth any ideas you may want to suggest. We appreciate your time and would love to see you there.
