BADGER SCHOLAR OF THE WEEK
Jekhi Williams, Junior
What a kid!! Jekhi is second to none in being kind and wanting to do well. Not a day goes by that he doesn’t cheer everyone up in the classroom and participates in class discussions. Jekhi is amazing at helping his peers and staying on task. Jekhi works hard to make sure he gets the most out of his time and does well. Keep up the great work, Jekhi!!!
- Kasy Epke, Chemistry and Home Ec teacher, ELL Coordinator

BADGER OF THE WEEK
Devlin Welch, Senior, Cross-Country
Devlin Welch has been a hardworking runner with a positive mindset in the cross country program for 5 years of his high school and middle school career. He ran over the summer before this season and achieved a personal record at the O'Neill invitational this year with a time of 19:12 for a 5K. He ended his season placing 22nd out of 75 runners at the class D-6 district down in Grant, NE. While his unique charm will be missed next year, I'm excited to see what he does in the classroom and in other extracurricular activities this year and beyond. Keep pushing yourself Devlin, you're doing fantastic so far this year!
- Alex Jensen, Social Studies Teacher, Head Cross-Country Coach
