The 2025 Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, September 26th at 2:30 PM. It will begin at 1st and Main, follow the regular parade route to 5th street, and end at the elementary/high school parking lots. Entry forms are available at any of the schools, KVSH, or can be printed here. Please be sure they are returned by Thursday, September 25th.

Clarra truly pushes herself academically. As a sophomore she's taking college credit food science, pre-calculus, personal finance, and CNA classes. She does all this while carrying a 98.25% GPA for the semester. Great work Clarrah!

Valentine Lady Badger golfers were 3 strokes away from placing 2nd as a team in Gothenburg on 9/16. The team shot a 389. We medaled two girls today: Joni Cox 7th with a 93 and Sam Sprenger 12th with a 96. Not far out of placing was Tierney Miller. Rylee Wackler came in with a score that was 17 strokes better than last year and Grace Murphy rocked it for her first time at Gothenburg. Kassie Hanson was the team's #1 cheerleader today! The girls play at home next Tuesday! Come out and cheer them on!!

2025 Homecoming will commence on Sunday with the Boosters Pep Rally and Powder Puff events. Volleyball to begin at 3 PM with football and pep rally to follow. Crowning of the King and Queen will take place at halftime of the football game on Friday, September 26th. The game begins at 7 PM.

The Student Council would like to invite the entire student body and VHS faculty to participate in the 2025 Spirit Days!

Juniors and Seniors were busy last week! On Monday, they all attended a College Fair in Mullen. Later in the week, a bus-full of students went to visit the campus of the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

It was a warm day playing at Rivers Edge in North Platte! The girls had some ups and downs and didn't exactly shoot what they were hoping for, but we still ended up placing 5 girls and taking home first place as a team! The team scored a 401. Medalist: Tierney Miller 1st, Sam Sprenger 2nd, Rylee Wackler 3rd, Joni Cox 8th and Grace Murphy 9th. Not far out of placing was Kassie Hanson!
