There is NO practice on Thursday, January 2, but there is practice on Friday, January 3 at 1:00pm at VMS.

Due to the winter storm that is forecasted Chadron has postponed their Holiday Tournament to Monday and Tuesday. As of now the times will remain the same. We will update any info as we get it. If you booked rooms don’t forget to change them. Stay safe this weekend!

The Valentine Community Schools Board of Education has offered the superintendent position beginning July 1, 2020 to Mr. Mike Halley who is currently serving as the high school principal in Scottsbluff. Mr. Halley and the Board will work out contract details and look forward to approval as part of the January board meeting. The board wishes to thank everyone who was part of the selection process and appreciates the willingness of all to share their thoughts and expertise. Welcome to Mr. Halley!

Tomorrow 12/18/19 is the last day to use your change to promote change at VHS. Vote for your favorite VHS staff baby and 100% of your change will go to the March of Dimes! FBLA would like to send out a gracious thank you to all who have participated to date!

VMS Christmas Concert



Our 5th grade students are already working hard on their choreography for their spring concert!



The VFW and Auxiliary State Officers visited Valentine Elementary on Friday to watch our students raise our flag. It was a special morning!




This was a lesson on symmetry in 4th grade math last week--they had fun finding the lines of symmetry in different shapes!





Ms. Harte's 1B classroom celebrated Thanksgiving by making cornbread and butter!
