
This was a lesson on symmetry in 4th grade math last week--they had fun finding the lines of symmetry in different shapes!





Ms. Harte's 1B classroom celebrated Thanksgiving by making cornbread and butter!

Valentine Middle School 6th graders participated in the UNL Extension Services Leadership Summit, "Hike Your Leadership Trail!" this morning at Mid Plains CC. Hands-on activities included a figuratively hike up a trail of concepts to the summit while gaining leadership skills.

Waiting games at VMS this morning!

VES 4th and 5th grade students each received a booklet of prompts to draw for the month of December from their art teacher, Mrs. Swim. We can't wait to see what they come up with!



When dealing with colder temps and snow, at VES, we think about warmer days playing games at recess with VHS FFA members. Thanks for visiting VES, Valentine FFA!





Our kindergartners carried on the tradition of creating their thankful vests full of words they can read! We enjoyed having them visit in the office and share their vests with us!

The Gordon Rushville Wrestling Invite has moved back their start time to 11:30 a.m. Central Time.

Ainsworth's MS Wrestling tournament has officially been moved to Dec 10th starting at 4:00 pm.

A reminder with this change in weather, elementary students need to come to school prepared for outside recess—a warm coat, hat, mittens/gloves, and snow boots. If they want to go anywhere that has snow, they need to have snow pants. We want them to get fresh air but also be dressed for the weather! Thank you!

Very interesting.... 28 middle school students would rather INSTANTLY become a grown up adult vs. 27 that would rather STAY the age they are now for another 5 years!
