There will be a meeting for anybody interested in the Jr. Law Cadet program and the Cornhusker Boys state program immediately after school (3:30) on February 18. There are Cornhusker Boys and Girls state applications in the office for anybody interested or see Mr. Cronin.

Valentine High School wants to recognize three very hard working and passionate music students. Tim Egelhof, Elli Springer, and Jonah Perrett all have been selected for the third time to the Chadron State High Plains Honor Choir. This is an amazing accomplishment. Great job kids!


Six Valentine High School Students (Sean Springer, Tim Egelhoff, Kenny Shelbourn, Jonah Perrett, Elli Springer and Nathan Perrett) were selected to the Chadron State College High Plains Honor Choir and Band. The students performed with others throughout the state.

Madison Brackeen, Junior and Sara Butler, Sophomore were selected for the UNK Honor Choir. Sean Springer, Sophomore, and Ellie Springer, Junior, were selected for UNK honor band.


The boys and girls basketball teams will be playing on Thursday at Gothenburg. The boys will play at 5:30 vs Broken Bow and the girls will play at 7:00 vs McCook.

Some VMS Quiz Bowl students attended an Academic Olympic competition in Pierre at Georgia Morse Middle School yesterday. They ended up tied for 5th place out of 14 with tough competition!



State Wrestling Tickets can be picked up at tomorrows triangular. Big shout out to Amy who got the Badgers great seats!!! Parents night will be before the last dual.
