The JV Football game on 9/28 and R/JV/V Volleyball game on 10/13 have been cancelled due to Todd County cancelling all fall sports.
Valentine Community Schools would like to inform the community that because we are in "Yellow" we will be following the yellow plan on our Return to school policy. One of those guidelines we are implementing is that ALL visitors are required to wear masks in all Valentine Community Schools buildings. Valentine Community Schools does not provide the masks, so please come prepared. Thank you for your understanding as we want to continue to provide traditional face to face education for all our students.
The Valentine Badger football team held their annual scrimmage Thursday, August 20. The boys are ready to play and the coaches are eager to start the season.
The Lady Badgers volleyball team had their annual Gatorsde scrimmage Thursday, August 20. The lady Badgers bring in a new head coach Julie Sherbeyn and a lot of experience from last yeaes squad.
The Valentine Middle School will be staggering dismissal times during the Yellow Phase. 8th and 6th graders will be dismissed at 3:15, and 5th and 7th grade at 3:22. Please send a water bottle with your student and please don't send them to school before 7:45. Thanks Mr. Sayer
We have decided to conduct Parents night on the first home events. We are going to do Seniors only.
Volleyball and Cross Country will be 8/27 between the JV and Varsity volleyball game vs Bennett County.. Parents please be there no later than 7:00 pm.
Football and Girls Golf will be on 8/28 before the game vs Crofton. Parents please be there by 6:30 pm and we will meet under the scoreboard.
Due toTodd Co. starting school virtually we will not have the MS Volleyball game with them on Oct 5th.
We are looking for MS/R/JV volleyball officials and line judges. You do not have to be certified to help at these levels. If you are interested in helping out please contact Gus Brown at gbrown@vcsbadger.net.

We will be offering season passes this year for both MS and HS activities. These will be offered with "NO REFUNDS".
HS Passes are $70 for Adults, $35 for Students and $175 for family.
MS Passes are $15 for Students and $55 for family.
Single game admission is as follows:
HS Varsity - $6 Adult, $5 Student
JV/R Only - $4 Adult, $3 Student
MS - $3 Adult, $2 Student
The football team is looking to purchase a new EndZone camera. We still have coupon books left and will be selling them at the Gatorade Scrimmage this Thursday. Coupon books are $25. Thank you for your support. Go Badgers!
This is for 1st grade through 4th grade. Students with last name starting with A-G come from 5-6 pm, and students with last names starting with H-Z come from 6-7 pm. 4th grade families, please park on Government street and come in the Northwest entrance.
This is a reminder that Kindergarten Orientation is tomorrow from either 8:30-9:30 or 10-11. Please reference the letter we went home to know what time you should come with your student. Tomorrow is also Meet the Teacher Night from 5-7 pm.

SAFESCHOOL ONLINE DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP COURSES... Valentine High School students should have received an email from SafeSchools through their school account. This is a digital citizenship course that replaces the COPPA test we have always taken in school. All students need to complete before they have access to the schools devices and network. If you don't have a device that can access the internet, please call the high school or email Mr. Cronin at acronin@vcsbadger.net.
