The April PBIS assembly at VES was held a couple of weeks ago. The focus for this month is on restroom expectations, but we also used this assembly as an opportunity to motivate our 3rd and 4th grade students for their state assessments. Mr. Little and Mrs. Jordan both shared a message, and our younger students shared some encouraging words. Our 3rd and 4th grade students worked hard on their state assessments!

Mr. Nollette's students worked with VES 1st grade students in all three classrooms to plant flowers! We love when VHS collaborates with our teachers and students. Thanks Mrs. Parks, Ms. Harte, Mrs. Eggert, and Mr. Nollette!

VES 2B students partnered with Mr. Bish and VHS students to spruce up the south fence on the playground. It now reads, Badger Pride! Here are some photos of the students working on it together. Thanks, Mr. Bish and Mrs. Coleman!

Mrs. Brashears and the 3rd and 4th grade students pulled off a wonderful spring concert a couple of weeks ago. They had the auditorium jamming with their singing and drumming! Way to go, students!

VES celebrated students who earned badger paws and had their name drawn and also students who earned a positive office referral. They were able to have an extra recess with a friend of their choosing and an ice cream treat!
