Valentine Community Schools MTSS team members have been attending the NeMTSS Summit the last two days. We are very proud of our VHS/VMS MTSS team members who actually presented today on the work they’ve done in the last year - way to go!

An Intro To Life is back again for the 22-23 school year! We are planning this community event involving 120 sophomores from Valentine, Cody-Kilgore, Thedford, Ainsworth, Bassett, and Keya Paha high schools.

Zoe O'Keefe did a FABULOUS job representing VHS at the CTE (Career Technical Education) conference at Northeast Community College today. She helped close out the event with a student entrepreneur showcase. Zoe presented to almost 100 teachers, admin, ESU and NDE staff!
Valentine Fire Department visited Valentine Elementary this morning. This is in honor of Fire Prevention Week. Smokey Bear and Sparky visited with members of VFD to talk about doing fire drills at home, changing batteries in smoke alarms, and just some general fire safety information. They handed out hats and other goodies, and gave high fives and hugs. Thanks, Valentine Fire Department!

After three weeks of Badger Cub Club at VES, we wanted to share photos of our students and all of the wonderful experiences they are having! They participate in a snack, outside time, STEM projects, art projects, homework help, and many other experiences.
We now have over 50 students enrolled, and we are very appreciative to our staff, Rachelle O'Kief, Lacey Mundorf, Jamie Elliott, Amber Biltoft, Karlie Brockberg, Taylor Battershaw, and Mandi Morrison!
