Notice has been posted at all 3 school buildings, on our website and via the school messaging system.
7th and 8th grade girls' wrestling practice will be today at 4:30 in the middle school lunchroom.

Congratulations to Andon Olson for breaking the single game scoring record for boys basketball with 40 points vs. Hemingford last Friday! Richard Bracha had held the record with 39 points, set during the 1986/87 season.
Board of Education Meeting Date Change:
Valentine Community Schools January Regular Board of Education meeting will be Wednesday, January 4th at 5pm at Valentine High School.
We will play able to play 2 quarters of JV Boys vs. Cody-Kilgore on January 10. That wills start @ 5:00pm CST, with Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys to follow.
Chadron Holiday BB Tournament-Girls play @ 11:00am/Boys play @ 12:30pm CST tomorrow (12/30)
Due to weather/road conditions, Girls Wrestling will spend the night in Sioux City again and return home tomorrow.
We are re-finishing high school gym floor only. It will be closed Thursday afternoon through Sunday. Please stay off the gym floor. Thank you

VHS students & staff partnered w/ Head Start, IGA, & St. John's Food Pantry to make the holidays brighter for Valentine families. On Monday, 12/19, we delivered 25 Christmas dinners to Head Start and 9 food boxes to the St. John's Food Pantry. Thank you to all our partners!
Valentine High School received some amazing news today! Our very own Taylor Battershaw found out that she is one of the 2% of all applicants be accepted to Harvard University. We are very proud of you Taylor!
