A little bit late in posting but not late in appreciation of Valentine Middle School teacher Mrs. Gina Breuklander and school counselor Mrs. Candi Cronin!!! VMS Student Council has facilitated a Google form for all students to vote for their favorite teacher and support staff member each month. These two rock stars were our February nominees. Thank you for all you do!

Hello Amazing Parents, My name is Mike Donahue and I had the absolute privilege to present my program, Value Up to the students at your child’s school. It was a great day and I am truly impressed with the administration and staff at that school. I am including the talking points from the assembly so you have an idea of what I was communicating to your child when I spoke. The overall message that I am trying to convey is that they have value that goes beyond outside sources and social standards. I want them to know that their value is intrinsic and they can never lose it. As you may know, the social landscape for teenagers is a tough road to go down for so many reasons these days. I have dedicated my life to helping students, parents and educators navigate this intense season by providing resources to help communicate clearly with each other. Communication with teenagers can be challenging at times and I want to help with this. I have wrote a book called Talking to Brick Walls. I am including the introduction to this book in this email. I also have a Podcast with the same name. You can access the podcast by going to https://mikedonahueconnects.com/resources/podcast/ My goal is to put as many resources in your hands to help you with this critical time in your child’s life. It was a pleasure visiting your town and working with the staff and students at the school. Feel free to reach out to me at miked@value-up.org.
