Badger Cub Club summer programming at VES has been a blast! Yesterday, they enjoyed a trip to Smith Falls. Thanks to our director, Rachelle O'Kief, and all staff and students involved for making such a great experience at VES this summer!

Tomorrow, our summer Badger Club Cub students are going to Smith Falls. We will depart by 8:45, so it is important that if your child was planning to be here tomorrow, they need to be here by 8:30. They can bring a towel, sunscreen, and good shoes. Call the school if you have questions!

We still have lockers for sale. these come in clusters of 8 and 10. Take a look in the high school commons. $240 for cluster of 8 $300 for a cluster of 10. Call the high school and talk to Tracy or Mr. Cronin.
Due to scheduling conflict the girls youth (grades 3-6) basketball camp today has been moved to Wednesday at the same time. The junior high girls basketball camp will run at that same time with the gym divided. The youth camp tomorrow will go on as scheduled at the middle school.

Sports Physical dates have been scheduled. All students participating in middle or high school sports are required to have a physical prior to practice/participation. We had a great first year at VES of our Sandhills State Bank - Badger Branch (Badger Bank). Thanks to Mrs. Cardinal and her students, the employees at Sandhills State Bank, and our 4th grade tellers for all they did to make this a success. We were excited to see how many of our students became savers this year, and we hope to grow next year!
We love to see the VHS graduates come through Valentine Elementary for a farewell! VES wishes the 2024 VHS graduates well!
VES family engagement night, Beach Bash, was a hit earlier this month. We thank all of the parents and guardians who brought their children. It was so much fun to see you all here. Thanks to the VES staff for all of their help in putting on this event, especially Mrs. Deb Jeffers as she is the heart behind this event!
