The fifth annual Community Quiz Bowl competition hosted by the VHS Quiz Bowl team
When: Friday, April 10, 2026
Where: The High School Commons
The Details:
There will be a free will donation supper (spaghetti) beginning at 5:00 pm in the Commons area.
At 5:45 pm quiz bowl competition will begin.
Depending on the number of teams who register, we will either follow a round-robin format or a double elimination schedule.
Teams: Up to 6 individuals may compete per round. A team may change players between rounds, but not during a round.

Student Council's Teacher Madness is in the final round featuring Mr. Larsen vs. Mrs. Stoeger! Students have been voting weekly and the winner be announced next week!
The Badger Pause percentage contest has kicked off:
1st: Thorpe 39-8 2nd: Galvin 37-10 3rd: Foster 37-11
Leaders by category: Round 1: Thorpe (87.1%) Round 2: Galvin / Keller / Thorpe (75.0%) Overall: Thorpe (83.0%)
Round 3 (the Sweet 16) begins Thursday and we are excited to cheer on our Huskers as they make history in Nebraska Basketball!

Public is welcome to attend the public performance of the 6th grade play, "The Day The Internet Died" TONIGHT at 7pm in the VHS Auditorium!

Are you coming to the 6th grade play? Grab Easter basket stuffers and any other Badger Gear you need for the track/golf season! We'll be open at the play tonight from 6:30 pm through the event. We will be set up in the hallway near the auditorium.
UPDATED VMS Announcements 03/23/2026
***VMS Students & Staff will be attending the 6th grade play dress rehearsal today at 2pm at the high school. Students will return to VMS and will dismiss at the regular time, 3:30pm. Public performance of the play is at 7pm in the VHS Auditorium.***
River Doyle, Junior, Speech
I am proud of the effort River puts into her learning. She is a model student in her organization, drive, and participation. We have been preparing for the ACT in English class lately, and River is very attentive in class wanting to make gains especially in the English portion. I am also lucky to have River in Theater-Speech Communications, and she always prepares each speech we deliver and performs well. How cool to have the district persuasive champ in our class! Congratulations to River on making it to state speech!
