Congratulations to our XC runners in their meet at Ainsworth! Wade placed 5th in the middle school boys race! They only medalled the top 10 runners for middle school.

Regardless of where you are on school grounds, your trash needs to be picked up. There was a lot of trash left outside of the gym doors last night.

VES students practiced a Lockdown Drill this morning for the first time this year. Students were reminded of our procedures and expectations for "Locks, Lights, Out of Sight!" VCS follows Standard Response Protocol procedures in all buildings.

Juniors and Seniors attended the Mullen College Fair on Monday. Lots of great conversations were held!

Lady Badger golfers took on the Atkinson-Stuart Country Club on this hot day! The 5 members representing Valentine today were Tierney Miller, Joni Cox, Rylee Wackler, Kassie Hanson and Whittley Cumbow. Placing today was Tierney Miller, 3rd, and Rylee Wackler, 15th.

We don't have any white lie gear for tonight, but we do have new gear for Shine Bright (9/18) / Red, White, & Blue (10/9) / and Pink Out (10/16). The Badger Den is open tomorrow at the football game, 6:00 pm - halftime! Come and grab your gear for the season!

XC @ Ainsworth has been postponed to an 11am start due to storms.

Valentine Community Schools is in search of a maintenance worker. Hours will range from 30-39 hours per week. During mowing season, the position will primarily be in charge of mowing. Teammates Recognition Night.

Hello again!! PLEASE plan to attend the TeamMates Recognition night on Thursday October 1 before the Varsity Volleyball game against Hershey (plan to arrive around 6:15) . Please wear your grey t-shirts for the evening and let them know your are in the program for FREE ADMISSION.

Come cheer on the Badgers girls Volleyball team and be recognized in appreciation for all that you do!! Hope to see you on October 1st!!!

Congratulations to Dominic Beebout for breaking the Single Game Receiving Yards last year with over 200 yards!

Congrats to our August Badgers of the Month at VES! These students are leaders in the classroom and following expectations at school. They were awarded Friday at our assembly with VHS Volleyball. Students picked out books this afternoon. Thanks Coach Porath and Badger volleyball for supporting our young learners!

VES School Picture Packets are being sent home today in backpacks. Picture day is Tuesday, September 15. Packets can be turned in to classroom teachers or the office. Please call if you have questions.
