- Lunch for today is: Fresh Baked Sub, Macaroni & Cheese w/Dinner Roll, Chicken Nuggets w/Dinner Roll, Corn, Fresh Broccoli, Carnival Cookie, Fresh & Canned Fruit, & Milk.
- Homecoming Spirit days will be October 5-9th. The days are as follows: Monday: Roll out the Red Carpet (dress as your favorite celebrity) Tuesday: Patriotic Day (wear your best Red, White, & Blue)Wednesday: Let's Go to the Beach, Thursday: The '80s Rock and Friday: Badger Spirit. Activities will be taking place during the week, be sure to tune into the announcements. The parade will be held on Friday, October 9th at 2:30 PM.
- To kick off Homecoming week, the Valentine Badger Boosters will be hosting Girls Football and Guys Volleyball! Sign up for your class team outside Mrs. Arganbright's classroom. All students can sign up for your class team! Girls football will start at 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 4th, with Guys volleyball following in the gym. May the best class win!
- Yearbooks for the 2019-2020 year have arrived and may be picked up in the office if you ordered one. If you did not order one in advance we have a few available on a first come basis for $55.00.
- All students are required to wear masks in an effort to keep us attending school in person classes and hopefully avoid so many being sent home on quarantine due to Corona Virus.
- Congratulations to the Girls golf team for placing 1st yesterday at the Valentine Golf Invite. Congratulations to Mekallyn Bancroft for placing 1st with an 82, Nicole Williams placing 3 with a 94, Becca McGinley for placing 5th with a 99, Jacie Cox for placing 9th with a 105, and Maddy Pilakowski for placing 15th with a 123.
- Girls golf is at Atkinson/Stuart Triangular today at 4:00 pm. Team will dismiss at 1:30 pm.
- Cross Country today at Gordon/Rushville at 5:00 pm. Team will dismiss at 1:45 pm
- JV & Varsity Tri Volleyball Invite today at 5:00 pm here vs. Stuart & Mullen. JV games will be at the Middle School.
- The representative from Colby Community College will be here Friday at 10 am. Sign up in the office if you want to see them.
- Junior class window and float committee will have a brief meeting Friday morning at 7:40 a.m. in Mrs. Adam’s room.
- Congratulations to the 2020 Homecoming Royalty Faith Buer, Haley Hesse, Samantha Phillips, Hank Lancaster, Brysen Limbach, and Chris Williams. Crowning of the King & Queen will take place during halftime of the football game on Friday, October 9th. The dance will follow in the Multipurpose room $5 for singles and $8 for a couple.
- Varsity Football will be at Imperal tomorrow at 7:00 pm. Team will eat 1st shift and depart at noon. Make up slips for period 5-8 will be delivered today and you need to have them in the office by 11:30 tomorrow.
- The Varsity Football game with Crofton will be made up Monday, Sept. 28th here at 5:30 pm.
- Juniors and Seniors will be given one class period (Chemistry and Government) on Monday, September 28 to meet with representatives from colleges (2 and 4-year) along with branches of the military as part of the EducationQuest Virtual College Fair. The event runs from September 27-30 and students can visit college booths any time during the 4-day event.
