ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS! Do you want to spend your summer learning about a potential new career, exploring the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus and having tons of fun?! Join us for 2019 Big Red Summer Academic Camps! Camp runs from Sunday, June 9 – Friday, June 14, 2019. All students entering grades 10-12 are welcome!
These career exploration camps are a chance for you to explore the UNL campus, meet people from across the country, spend time investigating an interest or potential career and have lots of fun. 2019 BIG RED ACADEMIC CAMPS will be hosted by Nebraska 4-H and UNL faculty members in various academic areas across campus. After spending several fun-filled days exploring a specific topic like filmmaking or veterinary science, we’ll invite your family to join you for a special “capstone event” where you can showcase your work. Big Red Summer Academic Camps are residential camps; ALL housing and food will be provided for all participants throughout the duration of the camp.
Choose from 8 different career areas: Engineering, Outdoor Nebraska, Filmmaking, Unicameral Youth Legislature, Teaching, Vet Science, Weather & Climate Science and our NEW camp for 2019: Animation!
Partial and Full Scholarships are available for select camps!
