2023 State Wrestling ticket orders are now being taken at the high school office. State wrestling will be in Omaha at the CHI Center February 16th-18th. Cost is $36/person. This includes all B & C sessions including Girls. All orders MUST be prepaid and into the high school office by Thanksgiving break November 22nd. This deadline is FIRM as the group order has to be into the CHI Center by early December for the random draw on December 5th.
Interact will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, November 4th, in the HS Gym/Multi-Purpose room. Tables will be set up during lunch. Please sign up for a specific time slot if you would like to give blood.
Calling all students interested in VHS speech: Mandatory speech meeting on Tuesday, November 8th at 6pm (right after One Act) OR 7am on Wednesday morning, November 9th, in Cardinal's room. Please attend one of the meetings if you plan to participate or if you are interested in finding out more about VHS speech!
On Monday, November 7th, Nebraska state poet, Matt Mason, and two of his fellow Omaha writers are going to visit VHS. Students need to report to their 1st-period classes by 8 AM for attendance as usual. They will then go to their Badger den classrooms from 8:05 - 9 AM. Badger dens will go to the auditorium by 9 AM for an introduction from the writers. After the assembly, students will go to 1st period to have class, running on a 10 AM schedule.
Football end of the year banquet will be Monday (11/7) @ 7 pm in the commons area.
NHS members who have not paid their $15.00 dues need to do so by Friday, Nov. 4th or you will go on the fines list. You may pay either Bella, or Mrs. Adams.
HS Winter Sports Parent Meeting will be November 10, @ 7:00pm in the HS Commons.
