Alivia Patterson and Isaac Cronin

SCHOLAR OF THE WEEK

Alivia Patterson, Junior

Alivia is driven.  She is in three of my classes this year: Business and Professional Speaking (dual credit), Accounting, and Business Law.  She comes to class each day with a smile...and a sandwich because she has already tackled cross country and cheer practice before 8 am.  She is BUSY with extra curriculars, yet she puts 110% into her scholastics.  She encourages her classmates and works well with other students.  One of my favorite things about her is that she carries around a huge box of vocabulary note cards...sounds a little wild, but this young woman has taken control of her learning.  She knows what she needs to do to get things done and she does it.  Alivia...your smile brightens my day.  Thank you for being you and for prioritizing your scholastics along with all of your extracurriculars!

BADGER OF THE WEEK

Ike Cronin, Freshman, Cross-Country

Ike Cronin’s leadership and performance at the Broken Bow Cross Country meet earned him the title “Badger of the Week''. As a Freshman, Isaac has shown great initiative and dedication to himself and his teammates at practice and at meets. Isaac ran 20:10 and was our second runner at the Ainsworth meet.  Isaac knew he had to lead our team at the Broken Bow and that he did. Isaac ran an 18:49.69 placing him 26 in a field of 131 competitors. Way to go Isaac, your “Cross Country Family” congratulates you and we will continue to watch as our season progresses.
