  • Reminder to students: You need to log into your PowerSchool portal and complete forms that are assigned to you. There are forms that need to be signed by both you and your parent.  

  • If you have not paid the $20 technology fee, please turn that in ASAP.

  • Any Badger that would like to be a part of the Student Council please see Mrs. Arganbright. 

  • FFA dues are $20 and need to be paid by tomorrow. 

  • Interact’s first meeting will be tomorrow at 7:00 PM at MPCC. This is an opportunity to get more involved in your community, and it’s open to everyone! Snacks will be provided.

  • The FFA Mixer is tonight and will begin at 6:30 PM (or whenever you get done with practice) on the practice fields!

  • Josten’s Rep will be here for the seniors on September 13 at 11:00 AM. 

  • Attention all students who are thinking about joining the VHS Speech team:  If you are interested in possibly joining the VHS speech team this school year, please touch base with Mrs. Cardinal or sign the sheet outside her door before you leave for Labor Day break.  Speech season starts after Thanksgiving and isn't intense until January, but as you know, things will be changing a bit this year - Mrs. Amanda Long and Mrs. Cardinal will be the coaching staff.  We would like to get some input from the students that are planning to or thinking about being involved, so please let us know who you are.  We are excited for the upcoming season!

  • There will be a very short informational meeting after school Thursday, September 8, in Mrs. Kilmer’s room at 3:31 pm for all students (cast and crew) who are interested in participating in one-act.

  • Tryouts for this year's one act play will be held September 13th right after school and Wednesday, September 14th at 7 a.m. in the auditorium. Athletes should plan accordingly in order to not miss your sports practices.

  • Seniors: Please check your email. Mr. Cronin sent those of you who meet the academic qualifications for Believers and Achievers an application. Please have it filled out and completed by Wednesday, September 7, 2022 if you are interested. 

  • Any Junior or Senior  interested in becoming a pilot or learning about flight, Mid Plains is offering a course worth 3 college credits starting today. Contact MPCC for more information. 

  • Any students over 16 looking for an after school or weekend job.. Stop in to Cody Foster & ask for Stephanie Cumbo or Maggie Cox!

  • Girls Golf will be at Atkinson, Thursday, at 9:00 AM. Team departs at 6:30 AM.

  • Volleyball will be at home Thursday vs. Winner. Game begins at 5:00 PM.

  • Cross-Country will be at Ainsworth, Thursday, at 10:00 AM. Team departs at 8:00 AM.

  • Homecoming is coming up! Get your **school appropriate** outfits ready! 

    • Monday, September 26th: Anything but a backpack - Your anything can’t be breathing.

    • Tuesdays, September 27th: Western Day - Put your best boots forward!

    • Wednesday, September 28th: Clone Day - The class that can match the most people wins free pop! (This includes the Badger Staff)

    • Thursday, September 29th: Camo Day - Hershey will never see the Badger Volleyball team coming!

    • Friday, September 30th: Spirit Day - Put on all your best BADGER RED & WHITE!

  • Football practice on Thursday will be at 6:00 AM!

  • National Convention applications are due to Mr. Nollette, Mrs. Houdek, or Ms. Epke by 8:00 am tomorrow morning (August 31st)! 

  • Students you will soon be receiving a Google Form that will be titled Homecoming Royalty Ballot. Student Council has chosen to select 5 king and queen candidates. 2 from the senior class, 1 fall sport participant, 1 member of the fine arts, and 1 member that is involved in FFA or FBLA. So if you are involved in any of these activities you will receive a ballot. That means there is a chance you vote more than once. Vote on all the ballots you receive. Ballots will be open until September 8th! Check your email!
