Reminder to students: You need to log into your PowerSchool portal and complete forms that are assigned to you. There are forms that need to be signed by both you and your parent.

Interact’s first meeting will be August 31st at 7:00 PM. This is an opportunity to get more involved in your community, and it’s open to everyone! Snacks will be provided.
Immediately after school today will be Team Pictures for Cross Country and Volleyball. Cross Country will go first so they can get to practice. Next Monday immediately after school will be Team Pictures for Football, Cheer, and Girls Golf.
Senior Banners need to be taken during these times. Do NOT miss practice for Senior Banners, so Football and Girls Golf members will take Senior Banners Monday. Senior Banner Forms can be picked up in the office. Questions, contact Mr. Beebout.
Volleyball will be at home tonight vs. Bennet Co. Game begins at 5:30 PM.
Football will be at home vs. West Holt tomorrow at 7:00 PM.
Parent/Senior night, for fall sports, will be during tomorrow’s football game. Football will be before kick off, while cheer, cross-country, and girl’s golf will be during half time.
Volleyball will depart for the Minden Invite tomorrow at 5:00 PM.

Attention all students who are thinking about joining the VHS Speech team: If you are interested in possibly joining the VHS speech team this school year, please touch base with Mrs. Cardinal or sign the sheet outside her door before you leave for Labor Day break. Speech season starts after Thanksgiving and isn't intense until January, but as you know, things will be changing a bit this year - Mrs. Amanda Long and Mrs. Cardinal will be the coaching staff. We would like to get some input from the students that are planning to or thinking about being involved, so please let us know who you are. We are excited for the upcoming season!
Senior fall sport athletes (Cross-Country, Girls Golf, Football, and Cheer) will be doing a walk through at the Elementary tomorrow. Please check in with your Badger Den & then meet Mr. Cronin in the commons!
