  • 8th graders helping with the VES Track Meet, please eat first lunch shift. You will walk together to VES at 12 p.m.:  Aubrey Benson, Trace Buechle, Isaac Cronin, Kansas Kellum, Sari LaDeaux, Christen Larson, Landen Mooney, Maeli Patterson, Madison Pitts, Samantha Sprenger, Rylee Ward and Jekhi Williams.

  • 5th graders - chromebooks, cases and chargers will be checked in today during 9th period. Make sure you have all your items cleaned out and ready. Cases need to be emptied out.  

    • 6th grade chromebooks to be turned in asap: Brooklyn Coyle

    • 6th grade chargers to be turned in asap or $30 fine: Colter Austin, Gus Benson, Tyler Harp, Brooklyn Coyle, Dontae Davis

    • 7th graders will be turning in theirs tomorrow during 7th period and 8th grade during 8th period. Please make sure you are prepared! Fees and Fines are posted outside the lunchroom on the door. Make sure you check it to see if your name is on the list. These fees are due by this Friday, May 13th.

  • 7th grade tree planting today at 1 p.m.  Please bring a shovel, gloves, and dress appropriately for working on the tower hill.

  • 8th grade permission slips for the parent-organized river trip are due on Monday, May 16th to the office.

  • Youth girls have an opportunity to participate in Youth Lady Badger Skills & Drills clinic every Tuesday morning throughout the summer. Information and registration sheets can be picked up in front of the VMS office. 

  • Track uniforms and sweats need to be washed, dried, and checked in today, after school. Fines will be assessed and paid for on Friday.  Valentine ribbons will be handed out at that time.  

  • Students need to return any library books they are not currently reading by TODAY and ALL library books by Friday, May 13th.  We have 3 shelves of free books they may choose from if they need a book to read after that.

  • Parents, the Valentine Badger Boosters would like to invite you to our next meeting, Monday, May 16th at 7:00 in the High School commons.  We would love to introduce you to what we do and have your input with next year's activities.  It's a great way to support the students in sports and activities.

  • Students who frequently order double meals and extra drinks for lunch need to check their lunch balances and make sure they have an extra $1.80 for each day in their accounts. (Including today, if a student ordered doubles each day, they would need at least $1.80 x 10 = $18.00.  They need to add an additional $.50 for each extra juice or milk per day.)
