As you may already be aware, LB42 was passed by the Nebraska Legislature in 2018 and changes the requirements for child passenger seats. Featured below is information detailing the changes that will become effective January 1, 2019. This law was changed to help keep our children safer while riding in vehicles. Child passenger seat requirement violations are a primary offense and drivers can get a ticket for failing to comply with the new law.
