The two announcements made yesterday afternoon about walking on 2nd Street instead of 3rd Street and staying away from Main Street were not taken seriously. You were informed by the school and are now being informed by the police. From the Valentine Chief of Police Dana Miller: “Could you do a PSA school tomorrow about NOT running through the middle of the construction zone on Main Street? Apparently one kid on a bike nearly did a triple gainer over the handlebars, and there were several near misses. Also, I reached out to the project manager to try and do something about the intersection at 3rd and Cherry. I’ve personally watched some near misses there. 8th graders will have their job fair today at 2 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. All other students will continue with their regular class schedule.

Reminder: Discovery Weekend for Middle School students will be held at the Methodist Church April 22-24th. Registration forms were handed out to students in Badger Pause a couple weeks ago.
