  • Lunch for today is: Macaroni & Cheese w/Dinner Roll, Oven Roasted Hot Dog, or Turkey & Cheese Sub.
  • Juniors are reminded to pay your $15 dues to Jaycie Cox or Mrs. Buechle.
  • An updated fines list is posted in the office window.  Everyone needs to check to be sure you have all of your obligations taken care of.  Reminder that no prom invites will be given until all fines and dues are paid.
  • Any current junior boy interested in The American Legion Cornhusker Boys State this Summer, please go to the office and pick up information.
  • Attention any current junior girls interested in American Legion Auxiliary Girls State.  Applications need to be in by today.  Interviews will be tomorrow at 3:30 pm in Mr. Shelbourn’s room.
  • MPCC's assistant director of the learning commons and one of the librarians, Katie Wheeler, will be at the Valentine MPCC campus today if any students have questions about the MPCC library offerings or accessing the library.  Speak to Mrs. Manning if you are interested in speaking with Katie.
  • Any Freshmen, Sophomore or Junior that has not completed their schedule for next year, need to see Mrs. Manning.
  • LOGOS tonight at the Presbyterian Church at 6:00 pm.
  • Those students that didn’t get their t-shirt from the Army National Guard Recruiter from couple weeks ago when he was here can pick their t-shirt up in the office.
  • Wrestlers will be departing for State Wrestling at the CHI Health Center in Omaha today at 11:30 am.  There will be a send off for them at 11:15 am today in the Gym.
  • Reminder to those attending the Sate Wrestling at Omaha, that you will need to wear a mask not only there but the city still has a mask mandate.
  • Great job to the quiz bowl team at the Gothenburg ice breaker meet yesterday.  One team was in a 5 way tie for first place with a 3 and 1 record while the other team had a very respectable 2 and 2 record.  Way to start off your season!!
  • Quiz Bowl practice after school Thursday in Mrs. Adams’ room.
  • There is no school Friday for the Winter Break.  Classes will resume Monday at 8:00 am
  • JV/Varsity Boys basketball here vs. Gordon/Rushville Friday at 6:00 pm.
  • Speech will be at Ainsworth Saturday at 9 am. Departure at 7:30 am.
  • Starting Monday, students who are on the ineligible list will be checking their phones into the office with Mr. Cronin every morning.
  • There is a District In-service Monday with a 2 pm dismissal.
