  • CHROMEBOOKS: Please make sure you are charging them at home and you remember to bring them to school with you every day. Too many students are borrowing loaners and chargers from the office.

  • Coronation participants:  Azara Barton, Mia Sherbeyn, Dontae Davis, Quincy Enriquez, Raken Tinant, Joni Cox, Robinson LaDeaux, Paige Sprenger, Jude Dahmen, RJ Dean, Brooklyn Rademacher, Samantha Sprenger, Jessalyn Welch, Caden Stankoski, Michael Cozad, Louden Grooms:  Please plan on practice Sunday, February 13th at 1 p.m.  As long as you start on time, you should be done by 2:15 p.m.

  • Written Spelling Bee students, please turn in your paperwork. Kylee, Robinson, Wrigley, Caden, Landon, Roman, Dominic, Alyviah, and Michael

  • The high school BIONIC Team, which stands for “Believe It Or Not I Care”, is having a pizza party tomorrow at 6:30 p.m., in the high school commons.  This is a recruitment meeting and we will also be making Valentines for Veterans.  Any 8th graders who may be interested in joining the BIONIC Team, please plan to come!  If you have any questions, you may email Mrs. Manning, Mrs. Kilmer, or Mr. Jensen.

  • There are forms outside the office for any 5th and 6th graders that are interested in Youth Soccer or the Just Run program put on by Valentine Youth Activities. These forms need to be returned to City Hall, not the school.

  • The Student Council will meet tomorrow at 7:25 a.m. in Mrs. Keller's room.

  • VMS Boys Basketball will travel to Cody tomorrow for their game against Cody-Kilgore. Game starts at 5:30 p.m. CST, the team will depart at 3:45 p.m.

  • Show some love for our furry friends… Mrs. Halley’s Badger Pause is doing a pet food drive for the Borders Without Boundaries local pet rescue: The class with the largest # of donations at the end of the month will receive a prize. Please bring your donations to Mrs. Halley’s room beginning Tuesday, Feb. 1st. Borders has requested that the following food brands be donated to stay consistent with their diet plans:

    • For Dogs:  Dry Food= Purina Pro Plan, Purina Puppy Chow, Purina Dog Chow, Purina One, Canned Food= Purina canned ground, Purina One, Purina Puppy. Milk Bones for treats. 

    • For Cats:  Dry Food= Purina Cat Chow, Purina Indoor Cat Chow, Purina One. Canned Food= Friskies or Fancy Feast
