Cole Simon and Kaylee Hanson

SCHOLAR OF THE WEEK

Cole Simon, Junior

Cole is an all around amazing kid both in Chemistry and in FFA.  Cole always comes to class with a positive, witty, polite personality and is a joy to be around.  Cole works hard and always puts forth his best effort.  Cole has a gift for gab, he overly impressed me with his reasons he had to give for the local Livestock Judging Clinic.  Although he was a little nervous to attend District Livestock Judging, he overcame that and did absolutely amazing at both the Judging, receiving several perfect scores, and yet again impressed the judges with his reasons.  Cole was the top placer for Valentine Senior Team, receiving 7th place out of over 100 competitors, as well as, helping his team get 3rd place overall at Districts and qualifying for State FFA in April.  Congrats Cole; keep being awesome!!

BADGER OF THE WEEK

Kaylee Hanson

Kaylee Hanson's help in one-act is so appreciated, and for that, she should be the Badger of the Week.  She goes above and beyond in her efforts to help the cast and the directors.  She works as both our Stage Manager and Props Manager.  She is organized and dedicated.  She took items home to make repairs and has stayed late to touch-up paint.  I also love her initiative.  If she sees something that needs to be done, she jumps in and takes care of things without ever having to be asked.  I also have the privilege of having her in my Speech & Theater class.  She truly has a gift in these areas, and I love her positivity and her big smile.  Kaylee, you are a joy!
