On Thursday, November 11 at 2:00 pm, Valentine Middle School will be hosting a Veterans Day program to honor all veterans, those currently serving, and their families. Our celebration will begin with an 8 th grade photo essay titled, “My America...What Veterans Have Made Possible for Me.” The 8 th grade band will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.” 5-8 th grade choir will sing “Armed Forces Medley,” and the 5 th grade choir will entertain us with “This is My Country.” There will be original poetry recitations as well as a reading of an original Patriot’s Pen essay “How to be a Good American.” We will be showing an 8 th grade video created for this day, “What is a Veteran?” We hope you can join us for this special day!
