  • LUNCH: Beefy Chili, Chicken Sandwich, Golden Corn, Cinnamon Bun, Fruit & Veggie Bar, Milk or Juice

  • 8th grade guidance today, 5th period P.E. will report to the Library, 7th period P.E. will report to Mrs. Breuklander’s room and 8th period P.E. will report to Mr. Coleman’s room.

  • Wrestlers - you will be walking to practice today after school.

  • Mr. Sayer was a car salesman before he was a science teacher!... before he was principal!  2 guesses left…. Who was the Bee Keeper? Who was a shoe model!? 

  • VMS Band members will be traveling to Ainsworth tomorrow for the Band Festival. Students will not get make up slips - you are in charge of getting your homework assignments and have them turned in on time. Bus loads at 7:30 a.m. at VMS. Remember to pack a lunch and wear a black t-shirt (if you didn’t purchase a festival shirt), jeans or black pants. Please let Mrs. Springer know if you don’t have one. Be respectful and kind, have fun and good luck! Make Valentine Middle School proud!

  • There will be a Halloween Teen Center at the old gym on Friday, October 29th, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. There will be a costume contest, fun and games, $3 admission. Permission slips are outside the office under the bulletin board. These will need to be signed and you must take it with you to the Teen Center.

  • VMS 5th graders are invited to a Halloween Party on Saturday, October 30th at the Hidden Oaks Cabin in the City Park (the Girl Scout cabin). Some parents have put together a fun night of activities for you from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  There will be games, prizes, food, pumpkin decorating and more! Costumes are optional but encouraged! Your parent/guardian must sign you in with one of the chaperones and must sign you out as well.

  • Mrs. Perrett’s Badger Pause is hosting a raffle to benefit the Sandhills Cancer Fund. Tickets are $5 each for a chance to win a Bomgaars gift card! Drawing will be held on November 22nd. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, please contact Mrs. Perrett.
