  • Lunch for today: Chili w/Crackers, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, or Fresh Baked Turkey & Cheese Sub.
  • Student Council Members please pay your $25 dues to Mrs. Arganbright or Lindsey Boes.
  • Student Council if your dues are paid you may stop in Mrs. Arganbright's room and pick up your t-shirts. 
  • One Act Play practice tomorrow at 3:45 pm in the Auditorium.
  • Spirit Squad practice Friday at 6:30 am.
  • The one-act team is raising funds to help pay for their scripts, set, costumes, makeup, props, and other expenses. Items are shipped directly to you by ordering from this link: https://hflynndesigns.com/collections/valentine-badgers 
  • FBLA will have a group meeting at 2:00 on November 1st right after school. 
  • Tenor/Bass Days is at Chadron State College today and should arrive back around 6:30 pm.
  • Students will report to period 1 class today for attendance and then go to their designated rooms for the On To College ACT test prep from 8 am-10 am.  Classes then will run on the 10:00 schedule.  We will eat during period 4 today.
  • Interact will be sponsoring the American Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, Nov. 5th from 9 am till 3 pm. Sign up during your lunch period this week if you want to give blood, remember that if you are 16 and under you will need a form signed by your parent.
  • Today is last chance to pick up posters that were taken from the lockers before they are thrown away.
  • Juniors please pay $15 dues to Jaycie or Mrs. Buechle as soon as possible.  
  • There will be a meeting next Wednesday, Nov. 3rd  at 7:20 am in Mr. Bish’s room for those girls interested in going out for Girls basketball this year.
  • Unsupervised students are not allowed in the gym after school. Please contact a coach/teacher or Mr. Beebout/Mr. Cronin to supervise Open Gyms after school.
  • Seniors check your email from Journalism about Senior Prophecies.  Seniors need to fill the Google form out as soon as possible.
  • Any student council member that would like to attend the leadership conference in Kearney on Wednesday, November 17th, please see the announcement in the Band App.
  • Congratulations to this week’s Badger Scholar of the week, Addison Kierl.  Mr. Nollette says Addi has worked hard in plant science class during our range management unit and utilized her knowledge to place first at the Area Range Judging contest in North Platte.  Addison had the highest score in both the Jr. and Sr. Divisions and helped Valentine win the contest.
  • Congratulations to this week’s Badger Athlete of the week, MaKenzie Long.  Mrs. Gass says MaKenzie  leadership and dedication to her cross country team placed her 14th at our district meet in Ogallala on Thursday, October 14. This qualified her for the state cross-country meet which was held in Kearny on October 22nd. MaKenzie ran hard and had a personal time of 22:14 and finished 41st out of 118 qualifiers. A great way to end a fantastic career.
  • A representative from Wayne State will be here next Wednesday, Nov. 3rd, at 8 am.
  • Any student who is ineligible will begin checking their phone into Mr. Cronin's office until they are eligible. This will begin on Monday, Nov. 1.
  • Any student who owes work for a teacher will be required to stay after school on Monday November 1 at 2:00. As soon as you are caught up with all your work you will be dismissed by a teacher otherwise you will be here until 3:15. That list will be put in the office window on Friday.
