- Lunch for today is: Hot Pepperoni Sub, Cheeseburger, or Taco Salad w/Tortilla Chips.
- Spirit Squad will practice Wednesday at 6:30 am.
- Students - If you have checked out library books, most of them need to be renewed or returned.
- Student Council Members please pay your $25 dues to Mrs. Arganbright or Lindsey Boes.
- Artwork submissions are now being accepted for this year's Old West Days and Nebraska Cowboy Poetry Gathering, held in Valentine at the High School on October 7-10, 2021.Artwork preferably has a western theme and will be showcased in the commons area of Valentine High School during Old West Days. Please mark the pieces with the student's name, school, and/or class, so that it may be returned after the event. Art may be dropped off at KVSH Radio, 126 W 3rd Street in Valentine, or please call Ann Krueger to arrange pickup: 402-322-1005 or email: ann@kvsh.com Submission deadline is Thursday, October 7th. If you know of any home-schooled students who might be interested in submitting art, please help spread the word!
- Any student interested in being a member of the one act crew must attend a mandatory meeting at 7 am on Oct. 14th in Mrs. Kilmer’s room. Duties will be determined at this meeting, attendance is required.
- BIONIC team members please ALL plan on attending a quick meeting on October 11 at 7 pm in the commons area. We will be signing cards, so it will be a fast but important meeting.
- LOGOS begins tomorrow at the Presbyterian Church from 6:00-8:15 pm. Everyone welcome!
- Freshman need to get their Chocolate Sales money turned into Houdek or Epke by today.
- One Act Play practice tomorrow at 7 am in the Auditorium.
- JV & Varsity Volleyball Tri Invite today at Ogallala at 5 pm. Team will dismiss at 12:45 tomorrow.
- FBLA officer meeting at 6:30 pm today.
- FFA officer meeting tomorrow at 7 am.
- Livestock Judging clinic will be at the Valentine Sale Barn tomorrow at 8 am. Make up slips have been issued.
- Reminder that the FAFSA completion days are Wednesday & Thursday to those that are applying for aid for college.
- Sally Conner from Cherry Hills Assisted Living will be in the Commons area Wednesday during the lunch hour for those wanting information on working there evenings and weekends.
- No School Thursday due to Parent Teacher Conferences and no school Friday for Fall Break! Classes will resume on Monday, Oct. 11th.
- Students are asked to get rid of the old locker posters on your lockers before you leave for fall break.
- Congratulations to the girls golf team on placing runner up at Districts yesterday. Valentine had 4 medalists; Nicole Williams 5th with a 95, Jaycie Cox 8th with a 99, Kaetryn Bancroft 9th with 100, Mekallyn Bancroft 10th with 100.
