- Lunch for today is: Italian Dunkers w/Marinara Dipping Sauce, Breaded Steak Fries w/Dinner Roll, or Crispy Chicken Salad w/Roasted Flatbread.
- Seniors, please complete the Google form sent from Journalism. Baby pictures are due September 30th.
- Students if you are planning on bringing a Homecoming date from another school this is your reminder to get a form from Mrs. Arganbright that is due back by Tuesday, Sept. 28th.
- Homecoming week will be next week with the theme: Blazing through the decades. Spirit days are as follows: Monday the roaring ‘20s, Tuesday ‘50s & ‘60s, Wednesday ‘70s, Thursday ‘80s & ‘90s, and Friday SPIRIT Day! Check with your class president or sponsor if you want to help with the painting of the windows. Spirit days every day and there may be a prize given to the best dressed. The parade will be at 2:30 PM on Friday, October 1st. Get your best Tik Tok dance perfected. Each class freshman-senior can put together a group dance and the winners of the contest will get into the dance for free. Mrs. Arganbright must have your music by tomorrow. Crowning of the homecoming king and queen will take place at half-time of the football game that starts at 7:00 PM. The dance will follow the game in the multipurpose room for all 9th-12th graders, your out-of-town date forms need to be turned in by September 30th. Doors will close approximately 1 hour after the football game ends. Entry to the dance is $5 for a single and $8 for a couple. Reminder ALL school rules apply to spirit days and at the dance. Go Badgers!!
- Badger Boosters will be hosting Girls Football and Guys Volleyball! Sign up for your class team outside Mrs. Arganbright's classroom. Guys volleyball will be FIRST and start at 5:00pm this Sunday, with Girls football to follow on the football field about 6:00pm. May the best class win!
- One Act play practice at 7:00 am. today in the Auditorium.
- Girls Golf at Ainsworth today at 4 pm. Team will dismiss at 2:15 pm.
- Student Council Members please pay your $25 dues to Mrs. Arganbright or Lindsey Boes. This will cover the cost of your t-shirt.
- Middle School and High School Cross Country will be at Rushville today at 5 pm. Team dismisss at 1:45 pm.
- JV & Varsity Volleyball here vs. Mullen & Stuart tonight at 5 pm. Games will be Valentine vs. Mullen, Mullen vs. Stuart, Valentine vs. Stuart. JV games will be played at the Middle School.
- Spirit Squad will practice tomorrow at 6:30 am.
- There will be a Valentine Badger Fishing Team meeting tomorrow in Mr. Jensen's room at 7:30 AM. We will be discussing practice this upcoming Sunday, concessions, and future plans.
- Varsity Football here tomorrow vs. Chase Co. at 7 pm.
- FBLA is having their first Krispy Kreme sale of the year tomorrow. If you would like to pre-order doughnuts, please use this Google Form to order for delivery at VES, VMS, or VHS.
- Junior class homecoming window and float committee meet today after school in Ms. Sherbeyn’s room. Junior class window decorating Saturday at 10 am at Country Fabrics. Pizza will be provided following the decorating of the window. The Junior class will decorate their float at Reimers Well Drilling Monday the 27th at 7 pm.
- Congratulations to the girls golf team on winning their invite Tuesday at Frederick Peak with a 394. Medaling for Valentine were as follows: Mekallyn Bancroft 3rd with 93, Kaetryn Bancroft 4th with 93, Becca McGinley 7th with 97, Kaylee Hanson 9th with 111, Nicole Williams 11th with 111, and Jaycie cox 12th with 112.
