  • Lunch for today is: Spaghetti w/Garlic Breadstick, Crispy or Spicy Chicken Sandwich, or Fajita Salad w/Tortilla Chips.
  • Seniors, please check your emails and complete the Google form sent from Journalism. Baby pictures are due September 30th.  Please turn them into Kassity Denbo, Alyssa Hockenbary, Mataya Morrison, Finley Mosner, or Mrs. Hand.
  • Students if you are planning on bringing a Homecoming  date from another school this is your reminder to get a form from Mrs. Arganbright. Homecoming will be held on Friday, October 1st. 
  • Junior class members interested in being on the Homecoming window decorating or float committees need to meet in Ms. Sherbeyn’s room after school today.
  • Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases we feel it necessary to take some extra precautions. We are operating in the YELLOW on our "return to school" plan.  Temperature checks will be done again in the morning during 1st period and beginning of 5th period. We encourage social distancing and have gone back to 4 chairs at a table in the cafeteria. Students report to their 1st period at 7:50 am. Increased sanitation has also been done.  Although masks are not mandated at this time they are encouraged.
  • JV Girls Golf will be at West Holt today at 4 pm. Team will dismiss at 1:45 and depart at 2 pm.
  • There is a PTA meeting today at 6:15 pm at the Peppermill for anyone interested in being in PTA.
  • Spirit Squad will practice Friday at 6:30 am.
  • Reminder to those wishing to take the Oct. 23rd ACT test that the deadline to register is this Friday.
  • Middle & High School Cross Country will be at O’Neill Friday at 3:30 pm. Team will eat 1st shift and dismiss at noon, departing at 12:15 pm.
  • Homecoming week will be September 27-October 1st with the theme: Blazing through the decades. The Spirit days are as follows: Monday the roaring ‘20s, Tuesday ‘50s & ‘60s, Wednesday ‘70s, Thursday ‘80s & ‘90s, and Friday SPIRIT Day!
  •  To kick off Homecoming week, the Valentine Badger Boosters will be hosting Girls Football and Guys Volleyball!  Sign up for your class team outside Mrs. Arganbright's classroom. All high school students are welcome to compete on your class teams!  NOTE this CHANGE - Guys volleyball will be FIRST this year and start at 5:00pm on Sunday, September 26th, with Girls football will follow on the football field (~6:00pm).  May the best class win!
  • Varsity Volleyball will be at the McCook Invite at 11 am Saturday and will depart Saturday at 6:15 am.
  • Congratulations to the FFA Range Judging members for their performance Tuesday.  Valentine had the top three teams in each division! Individual Results that received a ribbon in the Sr. Division: Hayden Larabee placed 1st, Hayes Hammond 3rd, Gracey Taylor 4th,  Taylor Battershaw 5th, Holden Mundorf 7th, Logan Muirhead 8th, Tagg Buechle 9th. In the Jr. Division:  Addi Kierl 1st, Seth Vavra 2nd, Preston Stoeger 4th, Brayden Battershaw 5th, Doc Lancaster 6th, Cadence Swanson 7th, Dane Pilakowski 9th, Hailey Witte 10th, Kinsey Buechle 12th, & Bella Ringhoff 13th.
