~ VHS Student Announcements ~

  • Lunch for today is: Ham & Pasta Hotdish, Peppy Tortilla, Crispy Chicken Deli Wrap, Uncrustable, Hot Dog Basket

  • Happy Birthday to the following students this week: Kelsey Birch(22nd), Maren Cronin(22nd), Rylee Wackler(24th), Alyviah Rhea(27th)

  • Happy Birthday to the following staff members this week:   

  • Reminder: that students who are on the fines list or academically ineligible will not be allowed to attend the Homecoming game or dance.

  • Informational meeting for a trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2029 will be Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. in the HS Commons. Please RSVP https://bit.ly/4h0VRsl so Mrs. Stoeger can prepare materials. Valentine Voyagers can earn a travel scholarship IF we can get 60 families to RSVP and attend the meeting. We're at the 1/2 way point! Mrs. Stoeger needs 24 more families to register for and attend the meeting on 9/22. Please do so by Sunday, 9/20.  

  • The junior class will paint their window (Country Fabrics) on Monday, Sept. 21 at 6 pm. We have a design picked, so it should be quick!

  • Varsity Girls Golf @ Valentine at 10:00AM on Tuesday. Departure TBD.

  • State Range Judging in North Platte on Wednesday. Bus will depart at 5:30AM. 

  • We will be running on a 2:00PM schedule on Wednesday so students can work on Homecoming floats. Students will NOT be dismissed from school until 3:30. 

  • Varsity VB Triangular @ Stuart at 3:30PM on Thursday. Students will be dismissed at 1:45.

  • JV/V Girls Golf @ Valentine at 4:00PM on Thursday. Departure TBD.

  • Varsity XC @ Ogallala at 4:00PM on Thursday. Students will be dismissed at 10:30AM. 

  • JV XC @ Gordon at 4:00PM on Thursday. Students will be dismissed at 

  • 2:00PM dismissal on Friday so kids can get ready for the parade.

  • Homecoming Parade at 2:30PM on Friday.

  • Homecoming Crowning will take place at halftime of the football game with kickoff at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 25th.  

  • Varsity FB vs Bridgeport @ Valentine at 6:00PM on Friday. 

  • The homecoming dance will follow the football game on Friday 9/25 from 9PM-12AM. School rules will apply, you will be breathalyzed, out of town dates must have a form completed. All 9th-12th Badgers are invited!! $5 single and $8 for a couple.  

  • FFA Alumni Hamburger Feed @ VHS at 5:00PM on Friday.

  • JV/V Volleyball invite @ Mitchell at 9:00AM. Bus will depart at 6:15AM. 

  • LOGOS will begin Wednesday 9/30 at the Presbyterian Church's for all 5th-12th grade students. Find the registration online at the LOGOS Facebook page or on a flyer around school.   

  • The Boosters & Student Council would like to thank the students, band, coaches, teachers, and fans, that showed up and made the homecoming kickoff evening a success!!
