~ VHS Student Announcements ~

  • Lunch for today is: Chicken Ranch Pasta w/Breadstick, Hot Pepperoni Sub, Zesty Combo Sub, Uncrustable, Spicy Chicken Sandwich Basket

  • Happy Birthday to the following students this week: Ana LaPointe(7th), Aiden Hutchinson(7th), Alex Monroe(10th), Ashley Mora Lira(12th)

  • Happy Birthday to the following staff members this week: 

  • NHS members please sign up for the Sept. 18th concession stand outside Mrs. Adams' room. 

  • Juniors and seniors, please fill out the Google Form that Mrs. Manning sent about college visits for September ASAP

  • One Act play production will begin on September 9th at 7AM with an organizational meeting in the auditorium. Bring your schedules.

  • FFA District Range Judging @ Valentine at 9:00AM on Thursday. Students will be dismissed to go to Nollette’s room after 1st period. 

  • Varsity FB @ Ord at 7:00PM on Friday. Students will be dismissed at 1:45PM. 

  • XC invite @ Broken Bow on Saturday at 9:00AM. Bus will depart at 5:30AM.

  • Varsity Girls VB @ Bridgeport on Saturday. Bus will depart at 5:30AM.

  • The fall sports Media Day will be taken on Tuesday September 8th. Volleyball 9AM, Football 10, XC 11.   

  • All juniors will be going to Kearney for a play over 9/11 called "Come From Away" at the Crane River Theater on Monday 9/14. We will load the bus @ 5:45 and leave at 6 am. All students will be fed pizza and will be back before practices start in the afternoon.  

  • ALL sophomores will be taking the ASVAB next Tuesday, September 15th, at 8 am, in the Auditorium.

  • Informational meeting for a trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2029 will be Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. in the HS Commons. Please RSVP https://bit.ly/4h0VRsl so Mrs. Stoeger can prepare materials. Valentine Voyagers can earn a travel scholarship IF we can get 60 families to RSVP and attend the meeting. 

  • FBLAers: Meeting on Monday, October 5th, 6:00 pm.  Please bring your Chromebook.  Just a reminder, we will be having supper during this meeting, so come hungry.  Please join us in the commons for a delightful evening!  Also...be sure to sign up on the bulletin board outside Adams' and Cardinal's classroom by this Friday!
