~ VHS Student Announcements ~

  • Lunch for today is: Beef Taco in a Bag, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Ham & Cheese Sub, Uncrustable, Cheeseburger Basket

  • Happy Birthday to the following students this week: Isaac Utecht(24th), River Doyle(24th), Leah Larabee(26th), Addie Sexson(26th)

  • Happy Birthday to the following staff members this week: 

  • The following were elected to the NHS offices this year.  President - River Doyle, Vice President - Josie Shaul, Secretary - Duncan Mosner, and Treasurer - Clarrah Beebout.  Congratulations to all of you. 

  • Write the River on Tuesday. Bus will depart at 8:00AM and be back by 3:30PM.    

  • Girls Golf @ Atkinson-Stuart Country Club at 9:00AM on Tuesday. Bus will depart at 6:30AM.

  • Varsity Volleyball Jamboree @ Home on Tuesday at 4:30PM.

  • FBLA's kickoff meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 26, at 6 pm in the commons. Pizza and ice cream will be provided. Sign up outside Mrs. Cardinal's room to bring a topping. Hope to see you there!  

  • FFA Husker Meats Tour on Wednesday. Bus will depart at 7:45AM.

  • Girls Golf @ Ainsworth at 9:30AM on Thursday. Bus will depart at 7:00AM.

  • XC - Middle & High School @ Valentine at 10:00AM on Thursday.

  • R/JV/V Volleyball vs Bennett County @ Valentine at 5:00PM on Thursday.

  • Varsity Football vs Summerland @ Summerland at 5:00PM on Thursday. Students will be need to eat first shift lunch and will then be dismissed at 12:15PM. 

  • Seniors: we know this is late notice but if you are able to take your senior banner picture TODAY 8/24 during 9th (it’s a TA/ SH/ Internship) please do so. Check your email for more information.

  • All juniors and seniors will be attending the College Fair in Mullen on Monday, August 31st.  We will dismiss at 9:15 am and depart by 9:30 am.  All students need to bring a lunch.  We should be back around 1:30 pm.  Please register at the link in the email from Mrs. Manning.
